Ricky Pearsall released from hospital

The San Francisco 49ers announced Sunday that WR Ricky Pearsall has been released from the hospital. Pearsall was shot in the chest Saturday in an armed robbery attempt. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Great news for the rookie WR's recovery after Saturday's tragic incident, as a bullet to the chest could have been life-threatening if it had made contact with any vital organs. No update yet on how long the recovery will be or when Pearsall should return to football activities.
