The 49ers continue to struggle with injuries as Deebo Samuel Sr. left the game with a rib injury in the second half. San Francisco is on bye in Week 9 but Pearsall could be the team's No. 1 receiver in Week 10 against Tampa Bay if Samuel is not able to heal up in time.

The rookie WR missed the beginning of his rookie campaign after an unfortunate incident where he was shot in the chest during an attempted robbery. Pearsall was set to miss at least the first four games but took a little bit longer due to his recovery. Now, the shifty, creative wideout is set to make his NFL debut. And with WR Jauan Jennings out with a hip injury, he can serve as the WR3 behind Deebo Samuel Sr. and Brandon Aiyuk.

"He’s had a good practice week," Lynch said. Pearsall will likely be eased back, but he could be needed with Jauan Jennings missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
