Browns GM Andrew Berry said Deshaun Watson will miss “significant time” during the 2025 season. (Source: Daniel Oyefusi on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Watson remains without a clear timetable to return. There have been rumors of him missing all of next year. The Browns will likely look to add a quarterback or two this offseason whether it be in free agency or the NFL Draft.

Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said Christian Watson is expected back around the midway point of the 2025 season. (Source: The Athletic)

Fantasy Impact: Watson is continuing to work his way back from a torn ACL he suffered in Week 18 of last season. “Everything so far has been really good," Gutekunst said. "He’s been through this before, so he knows what to expect. It’s a big injury. It may take some time, but he’s got the right mindset, positive attitude toward it.” Watson is unlikely to be on the fantasy radar in 2025.

Broncos HC Sean Payton announced Tuesday that Bo Nix has fully resumed workouts at team facilities with no restrictions following a minor offseason procedure. The surgery was unrelated to the back issue he managed in 2024 and forced him to skip the Pro Bowl, but it’s not impacting his prep for 2025. As a rookie, the 2024 first-round pick posted 3,775 passing yards, 29 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions on a 66% completion rate, while adding 430 rushing yards and four scores. Payton noted Nix is on track for OTAs as he continues to settle into the Denver offense.

Fantasy Impact: Nix’s 2024 numbers—29 passing touchdowns and over 400 rushing yards—made him a viable fantasy quarterback as a rookie, particularly with his ability to contribute on the ground. His full recovery from the procedure keeps him on course for a potential step forward in Year 2 as he adapts to Payton’s system. Fantasy managers can view him as a mid-round option with the chance to deliver low-end QB1 production, especially if Denver leans on his dual-threat skill set. Watch training camp updates for hints of growing chemistry with his receivers.

Tight end prospect Colston Loveland is expected to be ready for minicamp and fully cleared by training camp. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Loveland's doctor sent a note out to all 32 teams. He wrote that he expects Loveland to be ready to participate in minicamp and fully cleared for training camp despite undergoing surgery on his right shoulder last month. He won't participate at the NFL Combine, but still projects to be one of the first tight ends off the board in April.

Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell said J.J. McCarthy has his sights set on being ready for the start of the Vikings’ offseason program in April. (Source: Ben Goessling on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: O'Connell said McCarthy’s rehab continues to go well. The big question this offseason in Minnesota will be if they bring back Sam Darnold or not. It sounds like it is more leaning towards Darnold heading elsewhere as of now.

Panthers GM Dan Morgan said WR Xavier Legette underwent foot surgery. (Source: Carolina Blitz on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Legette did not miss any time because of the injury last season, but he did appear on the injury report throughout the year because of it. He did not undergo surgery on his wrist. It was a disappointing season for him, but he should be fully healthy by the start of training camp.

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed Tuesday that Hill underwent surgery on his left wrist to address a ligament problem. Hill had appeared on the team’s injury report throughout the 2024 season due to the wrist issue and saw his production dip accordingly, tallying 81 receptions for 959 yards and six scores—noticeably less than the 1,700-plus yards he surpassed in each of the prior two campaigns. Despite taking himself out of Miami’s Week 18 contest against the Jets in frustration, Hill recently clarified that he intends to remain with the team long term, praising the Dolphins’ positive trajectory. He’s expected to resume catching passes by the summer. (Source: Ian Rapoport)

Fantasy Impact: Hill’s offseason procedure sheds light on his relatively subdued output last year, hinting that his wrist ailment hindered his playmaking ability. Assuming a straightforward recovery, he could rebound to elite wide-receiver production in 2025, especially if Miami’s passing game remains aggressive. Fantasy managers should track Hill’s progress during OTAs and training camp to confirm he’s back to full speed before investing in him as a top-tier option.

DE prospect Abdul Carter will not work out at the NFL Combine due to a shoulder injury he suffered against Boise State. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Carter is still recovering from a shoulder injury he suffered during the 2024 collegiate season, but he'll meet with teams for interviews and participate in physicals at the combine. He's on track to be cleared for his March 28 pro day. Carter is a potential No. 1 overall pick.

Nolan Smith Jr. underwent surgery on Wednesday to address his torn triceps that he suffered in the Super Bowl. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Williams suffered the injury in the win over the Chiefs and played through it in the second half. He is expected to be a full-go by the start of next season.

Philadelphia Eagles star cornerback Darius Slay Jr. said that he "wants to play one more year, for sure." Though he is uncertain if it will be with the Eagles, he said he would like to return, but a reunion with Detroit could be an option as well. (Source: St. Brown Podcast on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Slay's three-year Pro Bowl streak ended in 2024, and he had made six in the previous seven seasons. The veteran CB turned 34 on New Year's Day, but he has still been productive with eight interceptions and 50 passes defended since turning 30 (the last four seasons). He is under contract for 2025 but could be a candidate for an offseason cut or a contract restructure ($13.78 million cap hit in 2025).

Eagles C Cam Jurgens underwent back surgery on Tuesday. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The surgery was to address an injury Jurgens battled in the postseason. Schefter noted that doctors believe a full recovery is expected by July, in time for training camp. Jurgens is entering the final year of his rookie contract.

Browns LT Dawand Jones underwent arthroscopic knee surgery. (Source: Jeremy Fowler on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Jones was dealing with a lingering knee injury throughout the season which was the purpose of the surgery. After making eight starts last season, he should have plenty of time to get fully healthy by training camp.

Paulson Adebo has reportedly made progress in his recovery after suffering a broken femur. (Source: Paulson Adebo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Adebo posted a video on twitter of him dunking a basketball. He is entering free agency, so it is possible that he has to sign a "prove-it" type of deal coming off his injury.

Tank Dell underwent successful LCL and MCL repairs and his ACL reconstruction is now pending. (Source: NBC Houston)

Fantasy Impact: Dell remains on track in his recovery from a season-ending knee injury. It remains unclear if he will be healthy for the start of next season.

Landon Dickerson will undergo surgery on his left knee in the offseason. (Source: Jeff McLane on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Dickerson suffered the injury in the NFC Championship against the Commanders. He should still be a full-go heading into training camp.

James Bradberry told reporters that he tore his Achilles tendon and Soleus muscle last August. (Source: Brooks Kubena on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: It explains why Bradberry did not play this past season. There is a chance he ends up being a cap casualty this offseason as the Eagles can save in cap space if they make him a post-June 1 cut.

Maxx Crosby said he is expected to be out of his walking boot on February 17. (Source: Vegas Sports Today)

Fantasy Impact: Crosby will continue his recovery from surgery on his left ankle. He underwent season-ending surgery back in December. He appears to be on track to be fully healthy entering training camp.

Dak Prescott is reportedly "looking to amp it up” for his recovery from a torn hamstring. (Source: Calvin Watkins on Twitter)
