Philadelphia Eagles star cornerback Darius Slay Jr. said that he "wants to play one more year, for sure." Though he is uncertain if it will be with the Eagles, he said he would like to return, but a reunion with Detroit could be an option as well. (St. Brown Podcast on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Slay's three-year Pro Bowl streak ended in 2024, and he had made six in the previous seven seasons. The veteran CB turned 34 on New Year's Day, but he has still been productive with eight interceptions and 50 passes defended since turning 30 (the last four seasons). He is under contract for 2025 but could be a candidate for an offseason cut or a contract restructure ($13.78 million cap hit in 2025).
