Tank Dell underwent successful LCL and MCL repairs and his ACL reconstruction is now pending.
Fantasy Impact
Dell remains on track in his recovery from a season-ending knee injury. It remains unclear if he will be healthy for the start of next season.
Houston Texans WR Tank Dell, who is recovering from a brutal knee injury, has no timeline yet, per head coach DeMeco Ryans.
Fantasy Impact
"We'll continue to assess Tank and see where he ends up. It's too early right now to put a timeline on it," Ryans said on Dell. The second-year WR could be at risk of missing his third season in the NFL due to his injury, which included ligament damage in addition to a dislocation. The long road to recovery starts now, but until we know more about his status, it can be assumed he will miss the opener in 2025 and anything else is up in the air.
Tank Dell underwent his first of several knee surgeries on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Dell dislocated his knee, while also suffering a torn ACL, MCL, and LCL and damaging his meniscus. He remains without a clear timetable to return heading into next season.
The Texans placed Tank Dell on injured reserve.
Fantasy Impact
It was revealed on Monday that Dell suffered a dislocated knee and tore his ACL. His status and recovery will need to be monitored throughout the offseason.
Houston Texans WR Tank Dell suffered a dislocated knee, as well as a torn ACL and additional damage, in Houston's Week 16 loss and will be out for the season.
Fantasy Impact
Dell being out for the season is no surprise given the seriousness of the injury, but given how late in the season it came as well, Dell could be set to miss a lot of game time. It remains to be determined if he will play or how late he can return in 2025, but for now, his focus will be on recovery while the Texans focus on the postseason. Dell finished his sophomore season with 667 yards and three TDs in 14 games. His 1,376 career receiving yards are the third most by a Texans WR in their first two seasons.
