Dak Prescott, having his worst weekly finish since Week 1, was not what fantasy managers needed at this point of the season. Unfortunately, this week's matchup isn't any better. Last week, he faced the Vikings, who are allowing the fewest fantasy points to QBs over the last five weeks. This week, he faces the Chargers, who are allowing the second-fewest points. Thankfully, the Cowboys' secondary can't stop anyone, and likely force Dak to throw all game. However, it wouldn't be wild to consider other options over Dak this week. Even if he has another down week, it'll all be worth it if you get to start him against the Commanders in Week 16.

Dak Prescott moved the offense effectively between the 20s but struggled to finish drives during Sunday's 34-26 loss to Minnesota, completing 23 of 38 passes for 294 yards with no touchdowns. He added two rushing yards on one carry.

Fantasy Impact

While Dallas converted its first two red-zone trips into rushing scores, the attack stalled on three subsequent visits inside the 20-yard line, forcing the team to settle for short field goals. Prescott battled a confusing defensive scheme that generated consistent pressure, a challenge compounded by visible chemistry issues with receiver George Pickens, whose effort level appeared inconsistent. The loss severely damages the Cowboys' playoff hopes, leaving them needing to win out combined with a collapse by the Eagles to secure a berth.
