Texas TE Gunnar Helm twisted his ankle on his false start on the 40-yard dash, but still finished all of the drills. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Helm said nothing about the injury until it was over. He underwent an MRI on Saturday that revealed a sprain. He is expected to run again at his Pro Day. Helm exploded for 786 yards and seven touchdowns on 60 receptions in his final season at Texas after limited production in the previous two years.

Texas QB Quinn Ewers said he is fully healthy after playing through injuries last season. (Source: Pro Football Talk)

Fantasy Impact: Ewers reported played through a torn oblique as well as a high-ankle sprain. “The oblique, it started popping up on me the Monday after we played Michigan [in Week 2],” Ewers said Friday at the NFL Combine. “Just kind of thought it was a little tweak, and then throughout practice it got worse and worse and worse. Then, obviously kind of just popped against UTSA [in Week 3]. I would probably say I played two games, maybe three games, healthy, counting the first two and then maybe one in between the ankle and the oblique.” He said he is 100 percent now and is expected to throw for scouts at the combine. “That’s the easy part of this week,” Ewers said.

DeMarcus Lawrence’s agent said Lawrence is 100 percent healthy. (Source: ProFootballTalk)

Fantasy Impact: Lawrence suffered a season-ending injury after just four games last season. He is entering free agency as he begins his 12th year in the NFL in September. Lawrence can still offer value as a rotational pass rusher at his age.

Marshall DE Mike Green will skip all drills at the Combine, due to hamstring tightness. (Source: Jordan Schultz on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Green will work out at his Pro Day. After leading the country with 17 sacks last season, the star defensive end is a projected first-round pick.

49ers GM John Lynch said he expects Christian McCaffrey to be ready for at least parts of the offseason program. (Source: Matt Barrows on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Lynch said McCaffrey is “doing great, doing really well.” CMC said back in January that he was close to being fully healthy. He should be good to go by training camp.

Michigan DT Kenneth Grant was found during combine medical evaluations to have a hamstring strain. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Grant will not be participating in on-field drills on Thursday as a result. He will be a full-go at Michigan's Pro Day on March 21.

Colston Loveland told reporters at the NFL Combine Thursday that he will be cleared and ready to go for OTAs and ready for contact in training camp. (Source: Troy Renck on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Loveland recently underwent surgery on his shoulder. He said he met with the Broncos and believes he can be a good fit as a route runner.

Notre Dame CB Benjamin Morrison said Thursday at the NFL Combine that he won’t work out at his Pro Day, and will instead hold a private showcase two weeks after. (Source: River Wells on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Morrison is giving himself as long as he can to heal from his hip injury he suffered last season. He totaled nine interceptions and 18 pass deflections across his three seasons at Notre Dame.

Vikings OT Christian Darrisaw (knee) is making strong progress recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee, performed in early November 2024. HC Kevin O’Connell gave a positive update this week, noting Darrisaw is “absolutely killing it” in rehab and expressing optimism about his spring and summer timeline. The standout left tackle missed significant time last season but remains a key piece protecting whoever lines up at quarterback for Minnesota in 2025, though the starter remains TBD.

Fantasy Impact: Darrisaw’s return is a indirect boost for fantasy owners eyeing Vikings passers or runners—think Sam Darnold, J.J. McCarthy, or Aaron Jones. His elite blind-side blocking steadies the offense, but the knee’s long-term outlook matters after such a heavy injury. If he’s back to full strength by camp, he lifts the floor for Minnesota’s skill guys; if not, expect some early-season turbulence. No fantasy points here directly, but his rehab updates could nudge Jones or the QB1 up your rankings.

49ers GM John Lynch said Brandon Aiyuk's ACL recovery has gone well so far. (Source: Matt Barrows on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: "The real top-end athletes tend to heal at a little faster rate, and I think that’s going on with Brandon as well," Lynch said. Aiyuk's status for the start of the 2025 season remains uncertain, but he does appear to be progressing. With Deebo Samuel requesting a trade, San Francisco will likely look to bring in a wide receiver or two this offseason.

Lions DC Kelvin Sheppard has “full confidence” in Aidan Hutchinson’s return to form. (Source: ProFootballTalk on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: “That guy was having a phenomenal year,” Sheppard said. “That guy’s willing to drop into coverage if it deems they’re turning three people in protection to him. He’ll drop out without hesitation and understand the coverage aspect of it, want to pour into that. So I have full faith in Hutch.” Hutchinson is working his way back from a broken tibia and fibula in his left leg. There have been videos of him running as he continues his rehab process. He'll be a player to monitor throughout the remainder of the offseason.

Browns GM Andrew Berry said Deshaun Watson will miss “significant time” during the 2025 season. (Source: Daniel Oyefusi on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Watson remains without a clear timetable to return. There have been rumors of him missing all of next year. The Browns will likely look to add a quarterback or two this offseason whether it be in free agency or the NFL Draft.

Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said Christian Watson is expected back around the midway point of the 2025 season. (Source: The Athletic)

Fantasy Impact: Watson is continuing to work his way back from a torn ACL he suffered in Week 18 of last season. “Everything so far has been really good," Gutekunst said. "He’s been through this before, so he knows what to expect. It’s a big injury. It may take some time, but he’s got the right mindset, positive attitude toward it.” Watson is unlikely to be on the fantasy radar in 2025.

Broncos HC Sean Payton announced Tuesday that Bo Nix has fully resumed workouts at team facilities with no restrictions following a minor offseason procedure. The surgery was unrelated to the back issue he managed in 2024 and forced him to skip the Pro Bowl, but it’s not impacting his prep for 2025. As a rookie, the 2024 first-round pick posted 3,775 passing yards, 29 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions on a 66% completion rate, while adding 430 rushing yards and four scores. Payton noted Nix is on track for OTAs as he continues to settle into the Denver offense.

Fantasy Impact: Nix’s 2024 numbers—29 passing touchdowns and over 400 rushing yards—made him a viable fantasy quarterback as a rookie, particularly with his ability to contribute on the ground. His full recovery from the procedure keeps him on course for a potential step forward in Year 2 as he adapts to Payton’s system. Fantasy managers can view him as a mid-round option with the chance to deliver low-end QB1 production, especially if Denver leans on his dual-threat skill set. Watch training camp updates for hints of growing chemistry with his receivers.

Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell said J.J. McCarthy has his sights set on being ready for the start of the Vikings’ offseason program in April. (Source: Ben Goessling on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: O'Connell said McCarthy’s rehab continues to go well. The big question this offseason in Minnesota will be if they bring back Sam Darnold or not. It sounds like it is more leaning towards Darnold heading elsewhere as of now.

Panthers GM Dan Morgan said WR Xavier Legette underwent foot surgery. (Source: Carolina Blitz on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Legette did not miss any time because of the injury last season, but he did appear on the injury report throughout the year because of it. He did not undergo surgery on his wrist. It was a disappointing season for him, but he should be fully healthy by the start of training camp.

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed Tuesday that Hill underwent surgery on his left wrist to address a ligament problem. Hill had appeared on the team’s injury report throughout the 2024 season due to the wrist issue and saw his production dip accordingly, tallying 81 receptions for 959 yards and six scores—noticeably less than the 1,700-plus yards he surpassed in each of the prior two campaigns. Despite taking himself out of Miami’s Week 18 contest against the Jets in frustration, Hill recently clarified that he intends to remain with the team long term, praising the Dolphins’ positive trajectory. He’s expected to resume catching passes by the summer. (Source: Ian Rapoport)

Fantasy Impact: Hill’s offseason procedure sheds light on his relatively subdued output last year, hinting that his wrist ailment hindered his playmaking ability. Assuming a straightforward recovery, he could rebound to elite wide-receiver production in 2025, especially if Miami’s passing game remains aggressive. Fantasy managers should track Hill’s progress during OTAs and training camp to confirm he’s back to full speed before investing in him as a top-tier option.

TE prospect Elijah Arroyo is not working out at the NFL Combine due to a knee injury from the Senior Bowl. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Arroyo is a potential first-round pick in April after a dominant college career at Miami. He will be ready for his Pro Day on March 24th.

Nolan Smith Jr. underwent surgery on Wednesday to address his torn triceps that he suffered in the Super Bowl. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Williams suffered the injury in the win over the Chiefs and played through it in the second half. He is expected to be a full-go by the start of next season.

Philadelphia Eagles star cornerback Darius Slay Jr. said that he "wants to play one more year, for sure." Though he is uncertain if it will be with the Eagles, he said he would like to return, but a reunion with Detroit could be an option as well. (Source: St. Brown Podcast on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Slay's three-year Pro Bowl streak ended in 2024, and he had made six in the previous seven seasons. The veteran CB turned 34 on New Year's Day, but he has still been productive with eight interceptions and 50 passes defended since turning 30 (the last four seasons). He is under contract for 2025 but could be a candidate for an offseason cut or a contract restructure ($13.78 million cap hit in 2025).
