Game Recaps

D'Andre Swift carried the ball 20 times for 65 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-22 victory over the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Impact: Swift was able to put up a pretty solid performance on Sunday. He was able to find the end zone once, but outside of that, he wasn't particularly productive in any one area. He slowed down over the back half of the 2024 season, but his strong performance in the first half of the season will offer reasonable optimism to fantasy managers for his outlook in 2025 and beyond.

Caleb Williams completed 21-of-29 passing attempts for 148 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 24-22 win over the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Impact: Williams and the Bears didn't have much to play for on Sunday, as they had already been eliminated from playoff contention heading into the week. However, that didn't stop them from playing well, picking up an upset win over their divisional rivals to hurt their playoff standing. Williams had a lot of ups-and-downs in his rookie season, but ending it on a high note like this could help to give him the momentum he needs for a big step up in 2025.

T.J. Hockenson caught two passes for nine yards on eight targets in Sunday night's 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. He was held out of the end zone in his return to Detroit.

Fantasy Impact: Hockenson's struggles were a major disappointment for fantasy managers who started him in Week 18. He'll look to bounce back in the playoffs.

Aaron Jones rushed 10 times for 45 yards in Sunday night's 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. He also caught five passes for 30 yards.

Fantasy Impact: Jones' performance was a solid contribution in PPR leagues, but his lack of a touchdown limited his overall fantasy impact. Due to his receiving ability, he remains a valuable fantasy asset in PPR formats.

Justin Jefferson caught three passes for 54 yards on nine targets in Sunday night's 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. He was held out of the end zone for the first time since Week 12.

Fantasy Impact: Jefferson's quiet performance was a disappointing end to an otherwise stellar fantasy season. He finished the year with over 1,500 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

Cam Akers rushed for 65 yards on six carries in Sunday night's 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. He also caught two passes for four yards. Akers' longest run of the game was a 58-yard burst in the second quarter, his longest run since his rookie season in 2020.

Fantasy Impact: Akers' big play provided a spark for the Vikings' offense, but his overall production was limited. He remains a volatile fantasy option with limited upside in a crowded backfield.

Sam Darnold had a rough outing in Sunday night's 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions, completing just 18 of 41 passes for 166 yards and no touchdowns. The Vikings' offense struggled mightily, failing to score a touchdown for the first time all season.

Fantasy Impact: Darnold's disappointing performance was a significant letdown for fantasy managers who started him in Week 18, especially with the Vikings playing for the NFC's No. 1 seed. He'll need to bounce back in the Wild Card round if the Vikings hope to make a deep playoff run.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill caught two passes for 20 yards on three targets in Sunday's 32-20 loss to the New York Jets . The loss eliminated the Dolphins from playoff contention, marking the first time in Hill's career that he will not participate in the postseason. In a post-game interview, Hill expressed his frustration with the season and hinted at a potential departure from Miami. "I'm opening the door. I'm out, bro," Hill said. He cited his desire to continue reaching the 1,000-yard mark and compete for championships as factors in his decision.

Fantasy Impact: Hill's underwhelming Week 18 performance capped off a productive but somewhat inconsistent fantasy season. He finished the year with 81 receptions for 959 yards and six touchdowns. While he fell short of the 1,000-yard mark this year, it's important to consider that Tua Tagovailoa missed seven games due to injury, which undoubtedly impacted Hill's production. In his first two seasons with the Dolphins, Hill surpassed 1,700 receiving yards, showcasing his elite potential. His potential departure from Miami adds another layer of uncertainty to his fantasy outlook for 2025.

Dallas Goedert caught four of six targets for 55 yards in the Eagles' 20-13 win over the Giants on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Goedert returned from injured reserve and had a nice game before going into the playoffs. The Eagles rested most of their starters but with Goedert returning from injury, it made sense to get him some playing time to shake the rust off, even if only a little.

Ainias Smith caught four of six targets for 35 yards and a touchdown and also ran once for four yards in the Eagles' 20-13 win over the Giants on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: The rookie out of Texas A&M had done next to nothing in his rookie year, buried on the depth chart of the Eagles talented roster. It was a nice showing in Week 18 but he's their WR4 at best and even then he's rotating in that position with Johnny Wilson. His limited upside puts him off the map in fantasy leagues, even in dynasty.

Jahan Dotson caught 7-of-11 targets for 94 yards in the Eagles' 20-13 win over the Giants on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Dotson had his most productive game as an Eagle in Week 18. He's the WR3 on the team by a distant margin and has been stuck in a limited role there for some time. He's not worth rostering in fantasy leagues and can only be started if AJ Brown or Devonta Smith is out, and even then he's risky.

Ricky Pearsall caught six passes for 69 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 47-24 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He was targeted eight times in the game.

Fantasy Impact: Pearsall has shown flashes of potential this season, but he needs to see more consistent targets to be a reliable fantasy option. He'll likely be a WR3 or WR4 with some upside in 2025.

Patrick Taylor Jr. rushed 17 times for 109 yards in Sunday's 47-24 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He also caught one pass for 12 yards.

Fantasy Impact: Taylor's performance showcased his potential as a lead back. With Elijah Mitchell and Christian McCaffrey potentially departing in free agency, Taylor could be a valuable fantasy asset in 2025 if he can secure the starting role.

Devaughn Vele caught four passes for 50 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-0 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He made an acrobatic catch in the end zone for his third touchdown of the season.

Fantasy Impact: Vele's touchdown was a nice surprise for fantasy managers in Week 18, but he remains a deep-league option with limited fantasy upside.

Marvin Mims Jr. caught five passes for 51 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 38-0 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He scored on a 32-yard catch and run and a seven-yard reception.

Fantasy Impact: Mims continued his late-season surge with another strong performance in Week 18. He has emerged as a key playmaker in the Broncos' offense and should be a popular sleeper pick in fantasy drafts next year.

Courtland Sutton caught five passes for 98 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-0 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. He surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the season with a 47-yard reception in the first quarter.

Fantasy Impact: Sutton's strong performance was a nice way to end the fantasy season for those who started him in Week 18. He finished the year with over 1,000 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix had a stellar performance in Sunday's 38-0 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, completing 26-of-29 passes for 321 yards and four touchdowns. Nix also added 47 rushing yards on seven carries.

Fantasy Impact: While most fantasy leagues concluded in Week 17, Nix's impressive outing is a positive sign for his future fantasy value. He finished the regular season with 29 touchdown passes, the second-most by a rookie in NFL history.

Peyton Hendershot caught two passes for 25 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 38-0 loss to the Denver Broncos. He was a surprising contributor in a game where the Chiefs rested many starters.

Fantasy Impact: Hendershot's two-touchdown performance was a welcome surprise for any fantasy managers who started him in Week 18. However, his inconsistent usage throughout the season made him a risky fantasy option.

Carson Steele rushed eight times for 25 yards in Sunday's 38-0 loss to the Denver Broncos. With the Chiefs resting starters and trailing for most of the game, Steele saw limited opportunities.

Fantasy Impact: Steele's performance had minimal fantasy impact in Week 18. He was not a recommended fantasy option in this matchup.

Carson Wentz completed 10-of-17 passes for 98 yards in Sunday's 38-0 loss to the Denver Broncos. With the Chiefs resting several starters, including Patrick Mahomes, Wentz managed the game conservatively and avoided turnovers.

Fantasy Impact: With most fantasy leagues concluding in Week 17, Wentz's performance had minimal fantasy relevance. He was not a recommended fantasy option in this matchup.
