The Buffalo Bills and LB Brandon Spikes have agreed to terms on a one-year deal on Sunday.

Spikes signed with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday following a one-year hiatus from the NFL. The Bills were in need of a linebacker in the wake of Reggie Ragland's injury and the uncertainty surrounding his return and Spikes fits the bill. Despite the acquisition, Buffalo is a long ways away from becoming a viable fantasy asset in 2016.

The last full season Brandon Spikes played football he had 32 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble. Even if Spikes does sign with Miami, he will not have a big enough impact where you would consider drafting the Dolphins D/ST higher than you were already planning.

Spikes' Mercedes Maybach was found abandoned close to Foxborough, MA early Sunday morning. Later on, someone claimed their vehicle was hit by a car that matched Spikes' Maybach. Charges haven't been filed, but this solidifies that he will never play for the Patriots ever again. He played with them from 2010-2013, then spent last season with the Bills.

Brandon Spikes spent his first four years in the NFL with New England before leaving last season to play with Buffalo last season. Spikes give the Patriots depth at linebacker which will help as Jerrod Mayo and Dont'a Hightower recover from injuries. Spikes will play mostly early downs as he is a dominant run stopper but struggles in pass rush.
