Brandon Spikes released by New England Patriots

After being involved in a hit-and-run accident, Brandon Spikes was released by the New England Patriots less than a month after being signed. (Albert Breer on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Spikes' Mercedes Maybach was found abandoned close to Foxborough, MA early Sunday morning. Later on, someone claimed their vehicle was hit by a car that matched Spikes' Maybach. Charges haven't been filed, but this solidifies that he will never play for the Patriots ever again. He played with them from 2010-2013, then spent last season with the Bills.
