Sam LaPorta (knee) logs DNP Wednesday

Sam LaPorta registered a DNP at Wednesday's walkthrough and his status is questionable for Sunday's NFC Championship in San Francisco. (Detroit Lions Official Injury Report)
Fantasy Impact:
LaPorta has been wearing a brace since hyperextending his left knee in Week 18 but he was active for both subsequent playoff games. He caught a touchdown against the Rams and caught 9-of-11 targets for 65 yards last week against the Buccaneers so he has remained a valuable fantasy asset even while nursing this injury. He should be a go against the 49ers but if he isn't, it's worth noting that the Lions signed veteran Zach Ertz to their practice squad this week. LaPorta's backup, Brock Wright, has also been dealing with injuries so the tight end situation in Detroit could be an interesting development as we head toward Sunday.
