Antonio Pierce has been fired by the Las Vegas Raiders according to Adam Schefter. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Pierce was unable to build on a strong finish to the 2023 season, finishing 4-13 in 2024 with an underwhelming quarterback tandem in Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew coupled with a roster devoid of substantial talent on both sides of the ball. The organization will join several teams in searching for their next head coach this offseason.
Justice Hill was back at practice on Tuesday. (Source: Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Hill was at practice, but in a non-contact jersey. His status will need to continue to be monitored over the next few days.

Lions coach Dan Campbell said he expects David Montgomery to be ready for the Division Round. (Source: Tim Twentyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: After it was reported that Montgomery was out for the season, it was later updated that Montgomery could return for the playoffs. With Detroit earning the No. 1 seed, it'll get the bye week off with the hope that Montgomery returns for the Lions first playoff game.

Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers was not at Tuesday's practice as the team prepares for its Wild Card matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. (Source: Jamison Hensley on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Flowers departed Week 18's showdown against Cleveland early due to a knee injury. Initially, it provided worry, but reports surfaced that gave more optimism about a chance to play in the first round. However, with a Tuesday DNP, it remains to be seen and seems likely that he could be out until at least the Divisional Round, should Baltimore advance. Rashod Bateman would likely see an uptick in usage, though the Ravens spread the ball out to multiple positions.

The Indianapolis Colts are signing RB Tyler Goodson to a one-year contract extension, keeping him around through the 2025 season. (Source: colts.com)
Fantasy Impact: For Goodson, the term "extension" feels a bit misleading, as he was set to be a free agent this offseason, making this effectively a one-year deal. Signed initially to Indy's practice squad, Goodson was set to be an exclusive-rights free agent in 2025 as his two-year deal expired. After career-best stats (214 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns on 132 offensive snaps), Goodson is sticking around for at least one more year as depth and a special teams option.

Detroit Lions rookie CB Terrion Arnold is dealing with a foot contusion and is considered day-to-day as the Lions prepare for the postseason. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Fortunately for the Lions, they earned a first-round bye, making Arnold's prospects more promising for an immediate return in the Divisional Round. His X-rays were reportedly negative and he told reporter Dave Birkett "I'm playing." The Lions will face the lowest-seeded team to advance past Wild Card Weekend.

Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald, when asked on Monday, Jan. 6, about QB Geno Smith's prospects to return in 2025, said, "I got no reason to say no. So, I guess, yeah." (Source: Michael-Shawn Dugar on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Smith and the Seahawks won 10 games in 2024, and while the QB had some inconsistency throughout the season (most INTs since his rookie season), he showed some promise as well (top five in completion percentage, career-high passing yardage, and best turnover-worthy play rate since joining Seattle). It would be more ideal to hear a head coach commit to his QB, and trade rumors will likely be common throughout the offseason in a scarce market, but there's little reason to believe Smith will be anywhere else in 2025, at least for now.

New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams was nondescriptive when asked about his future with the team if Aaron Rodgers does not return, saying, "Potentially, it just would have to depend on everything." (Source: Jets Videos on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: This is a bit of non-news, but it does show that Adams' future with New York could be directly impacted by Rodgers' future, which has become murkier to speculate in recent weeks. Adams has two years left on his contract but has a potential out the team may exercise this offseason. Both Rodgers and Adams' futures seem up in the air as the Jets enter another crossroads offseason.

New Orleans Saints TE Foster Moreau is undergoing further testing on his Week 18 knee injury to see if surgery will be necessary. (Source: Katherine Terrell on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Initial reports suggested Moreau would need surgery, but interim head coach Darren Rizzi said on Monday, Jan. 6, that they are still exploring options on his knee. Moreau finished the 2024 season with 32 catches for 413 yards and five touchdowns, nearly posting career-high marks in all three categories. Moreau has one year left on his deal with N.O., with a potential out to exercise this offseason.

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill, who expressed his frustrations with the team and was seemingly open to a new situation, has not formally requested a trade and has had productive conversations with the front office, says general manager Chris Grier. (Source: Cameron Wolfe on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: While Hill did not backtrack his comments, in which he said the door was "open" regarding potential offseason changes, he has not requested a trade. This situation will be one to monitor all offseason as the 30-year-old wide receiver appeared unhappy with his situation in Miami amid their losing season (8-9 in 2024). Hill also saw personal statistical drops, ending the year with 81 catches for 959 yards. Hill has multiple years left on his deal that expires after the 2026 season.

The Titans fired general manager Ran Carthon. (Source: ProFootballTalk)

Jalen Hurts is expected to play in the NFC Wild Card game against the Packers despite remaining in the concussion protocol. Head coach Nick Sirianni has provided minimal updates, but sources suggest optimism for Hurts' availability. (Source: Mike Garafolo)
Fantasy Impact: Hurts’ return is a massive boost for the Eagles’ offense, bolstering the fantasy value of A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert. His dual-threat skill set not only ensures a high ceiling for production but also keeps defenses off-balance, opening opportunities for the run game and big plays downfield. Hurts’ availability solidifies the Eagles as a dangerous opponent heading into the postseason.

Deshaun Watson (Achilles) has suffered a setback in his recovery from an Achilles injury. (Source: Daniel Oyefusi on X)
Fantasy Impact: Not much is known at time of writing about how severe the setback is, all that is known is that it will delay his recovery. Even so, Watson’s time as Cleveland’s starter is in jeopardy. The team was awful with him at the helm and they could position themselves to draft and develop a QB to replace him.

Christian Watson (knee) is feared to have torn his ACL against the Bears on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: It's a tough blow to the talented pass catcher. It looked like he finally got past the many injuries that had been nagging him since the start of his career. Sadly though, a lengthy recovery process looms over Watson, and it's likely we won't see him return to the Packers lineup until near the end of 2025. He ends the 2024 NFL season with 29 receptions for 620 yards, a ridiculous 21.4 yards per reception, and two scores.

The Rams' D/ST logged two sacks and allowed 30 points in Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact: The Rams didn't play all of their starters for the entire game on Sunday, so it makes sense why their defense looked particularly vulnerable. They allowed 30 points, but they will hope to tighten things down for their tough matchup against the Vikings in the Wild Card round of the playoffs next week.
Category: Game Recaps
Joshua Karty converted 4-of-4 field goal attempts and made his lone extra point attempt in Sunday's 30-25 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact: Karty was fantastic on Sunday. He made all five of his kicks against the Seahawks, including a field goal that he knocked in from 58 yards out. He finished with 13 points on the day, which left any fantasy managers still playing in Week 18 happy with his performance.

Colby Parkinson caught one pass for six yards in Sunday's 30-25 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact: Parkinson didn't do much on Sunday. He was held to just one catch over the course of the game, which continued his stretch of underwhelming performances. Tyler Higbee is the clear-cut TE1 for the Rams, which will leave him in the backseat for the postseason and likely into the 2025 season.
