Foster Moreau
TE - New Orleans Saints
This Week Outlook
Availability
New Orleans Saints TE Foster Moreau is undergoing further testing on his Week 18 knee injury to see if surgery will be necessary.
Fantasy Impact
Initial reports suggested Moreau would need surgery, but interim head coach Darren Rizzi said on Monday, Jan. 6, that they are still exploring options on his knee. Moreau finished the 2024 season with 32 catches for 413 yards and five touchdowns, nearly posting career-high marks in all three categories. Moreau has one year left on his deal with N.O., with a potential out to exercise this offseason.
Foster Moreau caught 3-of-5 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in the Saints 25-10 loss to the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
Moreau found the end zone on a 30-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter to get the Saints on the board. The 27-year-old will close out the season against Tampa Bay in Week 18.
Foster Moreau hauled in two of his three targets for a team-high 33 yards in the Saints' 34-0 loss to the Packers in Week 16.
Fantasy Impact
Moreau has struggled to make an impact in the New Orleans passing attack of late, registering less than three receptions in three of his last four games. The tight end should be left out of lineups in all formats ahead of a Week 17 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Foster Moreau caught 4-of-4 targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Saints 20-19 loss to the Commanders.
Fantasy Impact
Moreau did secure a one-yard touchdown pass to almost complete a late fourth quarter comeback. He continues to split time with Juwan Johnson, which could limit his fantasy value in a Week 16 matchup with Green Bay.
Foster Moreau caught 2-of-2 targets for 40 yards in the Saints 14-11 win over the Giants.
Fantasy Impact
Moreau tallied the longest play of the day for the Saints' passing attack, a 32-yard gain on an impressive catch in the middle of the field. Fantasy managers should leave the veteran on the waiver wire heading into a Week 15 matchup with the Commanders.
