Los Angeles Rams superstar wide receiver Puka Nacua said that he would like to retire at the age of 30 on the "Join The Lobby" podcast. (Source: Cameron DaSilva, Rams Wire)
Fantasy Impact: Nacua just rounded out his second season in the NFL, and while he fell short of the thousand-yard mark, he was just as impressive on a per-play basis as he was in his standout rookie year (9.3 yards per target in both seasons). While Nacua has quickly risen up the rankings of the best wide receivers in the NFL, he said he wants to go out on top like Aaron Donald, his teammate during his rookie season. The former fifth-rounder turns 24 at the end of May and has 2,476 career receiving yards and nine career receiving touchdowns, finishing inside the top seven WRs in fantasy points per game (half-PPR) in each season.

New England Patriots executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf said the team will take a "best player available" approach in the 2025 NFL Draft after they "went for need a little bit too much last year." (Source: Karen Guregian, MassLive)
Fantasy Impact: Wolf, who is the Patriots' de facto general manager, said the team is "really excited to be able to go into the draft not forced to pick something," believing that the team is not hamstrung to approach a position of need. While the Pats could certainly use some more help on offense, this likely indicates they won't feel a need to shoehorn in a tackle or wide receiver if they feel a better option is available. However, given that New England picks at No. 4 and could potentially see one of the top talents (like Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter) fall to them if multiple QBs are drafted ahead of them, it's likely no surprise that the team would take a best-player-available approach in that situation. However, if Carter and Hunter are off the board, the Patriots' response will be interesting to monitor.

The star quarterback reportedly told Tennessee he was "solidifying it [his No. 1 status]" at his Pro Day, and there certainly seems to be a lot of smoke that the first pick could be headed in this direction.
