Jameis Winston has signed with the New York Giants on a two-year, $8 million deal that can be worth up to $16 million. (Source: Jordan Schultz on X)

Fantasy Impact: One of the most likable players in the NFL has found a home. Winston was a boon for the struggling pass catchers in Cleveland last year, and fantasy managers will hope he can do the same for the Giants. Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton, and Theo Johnson managers will rejoice. Even those who stuck it out with Jaylin Hyatt can have some hope. With the Giants signing Winston, should they go QB with the third overall pick, they can afford to let whoever they select sit behind Jameis for a year and let Jameis be the bridge QB.

Tyler Conklin has signed a one-year deal with the Chargers. (Source: Adam Schefter via X)

Fantasy Impact: Conklin ends his three year stint with the New York Jets. He had a bit of a down year in the yardage department in 2024, but got into the end zone four times after not scoring in 2023. He should give Justin Herbert a solid option at tight end in 2025 and be a TE2 option in fantasy.

WR Brandin Cooks is expected to sign with the Saints, per league sources. The 31-year-old, a 2014 first-rounder for New Orleans, returns after posting 26 catches for 259 yards in 10 games with the Cowboys in 2024. (Source: Mike Garafolo)

Fantasy Impact: Cooks’ 2024 fade—26 grabs, 259 yards—could flip with a Saints return alongside Chris Olave. His speed fits their attack, making him a WR3 stash with PPR potential if snaps pile up. At 31, consistency hinges on health and targets.

Aaron Rodgers arrived at the Steelers’ facility Friday, per local reports. The 41-year-old’s talks with Pittsburgh heat up as the Vikings stick with J.J. McCarthy, though no deal is close despite the team’s thin QB depth. (Source: Gerry Dulac)

Fantasy Impact: Rodgers landing in Pittsburgh could revive his fantasy stock, pairing him with DK Metcalf and George Pickens for QB1 upside. The Steelers’ lack of a starter beyond Mason Rudolph makes him a fit—age and health are the risks. He’s a mid-round watch until ink dries.

WR Michael Gallup signed with the Commanders on Thursday, per team reports. The 29-year-old, absent in 2024 after retiring last July, returns after a 34-catch, 418-yard 2023 with Dallas, bolstering a WR room led by Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel. (Source: Washington Commanders)

Fantasy Impact: Gallup’s 2024 hiatus and modest 2023 stats dim his fantasy shine, landing him in a crowded Washington depth chart. He’s a long-shot WR4 at best—experience with Dan Quinn might earn snaps, but volume’s scarce. PPR leagues won’t bite unless injuries clear a path.

WR Deebo Samuel locked in a revised one-year pact with the Commanders on Wednesday, netting 17 million dollars guaranteed and up to 3 million in incentives, per league sources. The 29-year-old looks to reset after a muted 2024 with the 49ers. (Source: Adam Schefter)

Fantasy Impact: Samuel’s 2024 dip—51 catches, 670 yards—faded his star, but Washington’s offense could unlock his dual-threat game. Pairing with Terry McLaurin, he’s a WR2 gamble with PPR juice if Kliff Kingsbury schemes him right. Injuries and age (29) cap his ceiling—health is key.
