Fantasy Impact
Gonzalez homered for the first time since September 13 but three of his six home runs have come since September 5. Gonzalez will make for a solid bar off the bench in the postseason but likely won’t make any starts m, barring injury, limiting his DFS value. Gonzalez is slashing .182/.255/.324 with six home runs, 17 RBI, 20 runs scored, and three stolen bases in 176 at-bats this season.

Gonzalez is slashing .194/.267/.335 with five home runs, 14 RBI, 17 runs scored, and three stolen bases this season. Gonzalez is slashing .205/.279/.348 with four home runs, 12 RBI, and 13 runs scored in 132 at-bats this season. Fantasy Impact
Gonzalez hit his third home run of the season on Tuesday and enjoyed back to back 2-hit games. The homer was his second in his last four starts and third of June. Gonzalez is 13-for-38 (.342) for the month and has 26 totals bases across 18 appearances (10 starts). Marwin Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a home run, a doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored in New York’s 5-4 loss in Tampa on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Marwin Gonzalez started Tuesday for the resting Aaron Judge and made his fourth straight start for the Yankees. Gonzalez is 5-for-15 (.333) in those four starts. The home run was Gonzalez’ second of the season and second in three games as well. Gonzalez had made his two previous starts at shortstop for the ailing Isiah Kiner-Falefa so even once Judge returns Wednesday, Gonzalez could be in line for more starts in the short term making him an intriguing flier in DFS lineups. He also carries extreme roster versatility as he is eligible to play at 2B, 3B, SS, and OF making him nearly impossible not to find a spot for if you want to play him.
