Marwin Gonzalez homers in win Monday

Marwin Gonzalez went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in New York’s 5-2 win against the Twins on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

Gonzalez started at first base Monday with Anthony Rizzo having received an epidural to address his back issues. Gonzalez hit his first home run since June 28 against the Athletics. Gonzalez is slashing .205/.279/.348 with four home runs, 12 RBI, and 13 runs scored in 132 at-bats this season. Gonzalez only has 15 at-bats since the beginning of August so he is best used for DFS lineups as a low-cost flier on days he starts.
