Fantasy Impact:

The move comes a few days after Hampson exercised his opt-out clause. Rather than lose Hampson, the team has elected to add him to the major-league roster. The veteran hit .300 in 17 games this spring and will likely serve as the utilityman for the Diamondbacks.
