Marwin Gonzalez homers, drives in two runs in win Tuesday

Marwin Gonzalez went 1-for-4 with a two-run hike run in New York’s 7-6 extra-inning win in Boston on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Gonzalez’s two-run blast in the 3rd inning tied the game at 2-2 and he now was two home runs in September after none in July or August. Gonzalez is slashing .194/.267/.335 with five home runs, 14 RBI, 17 runs scored, and three stolen bases this season. Gonzalez will head back to the bench once Anthony Rizzo or DJ LeMahieu return to the lineup which is on the horizon.
