Steve Mason stopped 38-of-39 shots during Winnipeg's 2-1 win versus the Los Angeles Kings.
Fantasy Impact
It was the second straight good start for Mason after struggling at the beginning of the season. The problem is this was just his second start since November 11th. The Jets are playing well so look for Connor Hellebuyck to continue to get the bulk of the starts in net for Winnipeg.
Steve Mason stopped 29-of-30 shots during Winnipeg's 4-1 win versus Arizona.
Fantasy Impact
It was easily Mason's best game as a Jet after starting the season with 16 goals allowed in his first three starts. He is still likely the number two starter in Winnipeg but this game, even if it's against the Coyotes should be a confidence booster for Mason moving forward.
Steve Mason stopped 34-of-39 shots during Winnipeg's 5-2 loss to Columbus.
Fantasy Impact
It was another struggle for Mason in net and he is now 0-3 with 16 goals against. He has a bloated 5.96 GAA and a .846 save percentage. Look for Connor Hellebuyck to begin seeing the majority of time between the pipes as Mason continues to get comfortable in Winnipeg.
Steve Mason stopped 15-of-20 shots during the Jets 7-2 opening night loss to Toronto. He was pulled after allowing the fifth goal just 36 seconds into the third period.
Fantasy Impact
It was not the kind of debut Mason was hoping for with the Jets. Last season with Philadelphia he posted a 26-21-8 record and a 2.66 GAA and a .908 save percentage. Mason was brought in to help stabilize their goaltending woes but if the Jets continue to play this poorly in their own zone it may not matter who is in net.
Steve Mason stopped 31-of-33 shots during Winnipeg's 3-2 shootout loss to Calgary. It was the preseason finale for the Jets as they prepare to start the season at home October 4th versus Toronto.
Fantasy Impact
Mason will look to solve the long netminding woes for the Jets as they begin the season with strong playoff aspirations. He will have plenty of offensive support this season playing with the high-flying Jets who are loaded with talent. Last year in Philadelphia he posted a 26-21-8 record with a 2.66 GAA and a .908 save percentage.
