Steve Mason makes 31 saves in Jets shootout loss

Steve Mason stopped 31-of-33 shots during Winnipeg's 3-2 shootout loss to Calgary. It was the preseason finale for the Jets as they prepare to start the season at home October 4th versus Toronto.
Fantasy Impact:
Mason will look to solve the long netminding woes for the Jets as they begin the season with strong playoff aspirations. He will have plenty of offensive support this season playing with the high-flying Jets who are loaded with talent. Last year in Philadelphia he posted a 26-21-8 record with a 2.66 GAA and a .908 save percentage.
