He finished with a career-high 43 points on the year, and may be a sleeper pick for any playoff pools or Fantasy DFS slates.

He is not a must-roster option to close out the season, so feel free to chase upside or ride the hot hand elsewhere right now.

Simply an outstanding performance by the center in this one. Kotkaniemi has been extremely inconsistent and underwhelming on offence this season. He has just 30 points on the year, but as of late, has found chemistry with his new linemates. Kotkaniemi, Martin Necas, and Teuvo Teravainen combined for 11 points in this one, and all three deserve to be rostered in deeper Fantasy leagues right now. Do not expect this type of production nightly, but a game like this does raise his ceiling. Pair that with the exposure to the talent around him, and Kotkaniemi may be a sneaky add for the Fantasy Hockey playoff stretch.
