Fantasy Impact
Kempny played in the KHL last season for Omsk Avangard, scoring five goals and adding 16 assists in 59 regular season games. He also had four points (two goals, two assists) in 11 playoff games. The 6'0", 194-pounder turns 26 in September and earned high praise from Blackhawks GM Stan Bowman who said this: "He’s got that mixture of offense and defense. I would call him a really well-rounded guy. He can defend well in his own end. Mobility, he’s a good skater." (Via The Athletic).
Christian Ehrhoff earned an assist on the game winning goal in overtime against the Coyotes on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Ehrhoff signed with the Kings in early September to provide some blue line depth for the team. He'll look to improve on a 14-15 season where he earned 11 assists and netted three goals in 49 games.
