The Browns signed OL Wyatt Davis.
Fantasy Impact
Davis spent last season on IR with the Giants after also playing for the Vikings, Saints and Cardinals. He figures to compete for a roster spot out of training camp.
The New York Giants are bringing back OG Wyatt Davis who was set to become an exclusive-rights free agent.
Fantasy Impact
The Giants claimed Davis off of waivers in 2022, and he played in New York's regular-season finale. Davis is just 24 and a former third-round pick but has played on four teams in his career. The Giants will continue to see if they can get something out of the Ohio State Buckeye.
Wyatt Davis has been signed to the Saints' 53-man roster from the Giants' practice squad.
Fantasy Impact
NFL practice squads are made up of 16 players, four of which can be protected from being signed to another team's active roster. That means that the other 12 players are free to be signed by other organizations, which is the case here with Davis, who joined the Giants' practice squad on September 1. Davis spent his collegiate career at Ohio State University and was drafted by the Vikings in the third round of the 2021 draft. The second-year guard will likely serve as a depth option in New Orleans.
The Minnesota Vikings have selected guard Wyatt Davis with the No. 86 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact
Already a strong run blocker, Davis should have a long career on the interior of the offensive line in Minnesota. Davis is an early Day 2 talent, but recurring knee issues hurt his draft stock. Ferocious at the point of attack, Davis is starter ready when healthy. The Vikings got a steal.
