Pickett's playing time was a result of a 28-3 blowout against the Giants after the Eagles pulled starting quarterback Jalen Hurts. Pickett may see limited playing time in blowouts but will otherwise remain on the bench as long as Hurts is healthy.
Kenny Pickett completed six of his nine passes for 58 yards and added a four-yard run in a 26-3 loss to the Vikings in preseason action on Saturday.

Pickett started Thursday's game and only threw for 67 yards on 11 completions with four sacks taken. Tanner McKee finished 15-of-19 for 140 yards with zero sacks. It was a struggle for Pickett in the first half, but he remains the backup as of now behind Hurts.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Tanner McKee has been receiving more reps with the second team in practice lately than QB Kenny Pickett. This is something OC Kellen Moore has downplayed, though, as he mentioned on Tuesday that they've both been "doing an awesome job."

This could be a QB battle to keep an eye on throughout preseason as we await to hear who is named the official QB2 this season for the Eagles.
