Fantasy Impact
With Anquan Boldin ruled inactive prior to Sunday's game, Jerome Simpson received the most targets but didn't put up productive numbers. This was his first game back from a six-game suspension and he may not be on the same page as QB Colin Kaepernick quite yet. Simpson is not a solid fantasy option and the 49ers' QB situation should be monitored before deciding to start any of their WRs.

Jerome Simpson was suspended by the NFL for violating the league's susbstance abuse policy prior to the season which is a bad sign to start. The 29-year old didn't play last season and will be a little rusty getting back to full practice this week. He should not be considered in fantasy leagues at this time.

This only effects Jerome, not Colin Kaepernick or the 49ers offense. Jerome has some talent and could catch some balls for the 49ers, but he's probably the 5th or 6th option on that team. Do not draft him.
It's been reported that Jerome Simpson has signed a 2-year contract with the 49ers. Depending on what happens with Michael Crabtree and Stevie Johnson, he could possibly be the #2 receiver on the 49ers.
Fantasy Impact
If Crabtree and Johnson were not on the 49ers next season, Simpson would be someone to target in the mid to late rounds. He could have some sneaky WR2/3 value.

Jerome is not a #1 receiver, he would most likely be the 49ers third or fourth option in the pass game if he were to sign.
