Philadelphia rookie WR/returner Ainias Smith is set to make his NFL debut in Week 8 as he returns from an ankle injury that kept him on the injured reserve. (Dave Zangaro on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Texas A&M product is best known for his after-the-catch ability and could immediately translate as a designed-touch guy and return specialist. The Eagles have been looking for more receiver help aside from WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, and the rookie Smith could potentially bring a new energy Philadelphia needs. His role and usage in a solid offense should be monitored in dynasty and deeper re-draft leagues.
