Emari Demercado sees team-high in touches in Week 6

by Jordan Epp | Cardinals Correspondent | Mon, Oct 14th 12:28pm EDT

Arizona Cardinals RB Emari Demercado saw a team-high nine touches (four rushes, five receptions) for 64 yards in the Week 6 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Impact:

Demercado saw an over-50% snap share in Week 6 after the Cardinals went down 24-0 with 4:32 left in the second quarter. That, and potentially an ankle injury, ended RB1 James Conner's day early, though head coach Jonathan Gannon claimed the move was tied to the game script. As a result, Demercado earned seven targets, second on the team, and showed a role that could re-appear in negative-game-script outings this season, playing ahead of rookie RB Trey Benson.
