James Conner dealing with ankle injury after loss

Arizona Cardinals RB James Conner's day ended early after getting his ankles taped and fumbling the ball early in the third quarter. He gained 46 yards from scrimmage on 11 touches.
Fantasy Impact:
Conner had a day to forget, though his practice status should be monitored all week after he got his ankles taped up. Following Conner's fumble, his first lost fumble since Nov. 2022, he ceded his work to RBs Trey Benson and Amari Demercado. Head coach Jonathan Gannon said it was a game script-dependent choice and not injury-related, but we'll have to see how Conner practices this week.
