Arizona Cardinals RB Trey Benson took five carries for 26 yards in a Week 6 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the expectations that Benson would be the RB1-in-waiting in Arizona if Conner was hurt, Week 6 provided a glimpse that it may not be the case. Conner's day ended early, and whether that was injury-related (ankle) or game script-dependent, RB Emari Demercado dominated the touches and snaps over Benson. Conner's injury should remain monitored, but Benson would not likely dominate the field if Conner missed any time.
