Trey Benson
RB - Arizona Cardinals
Availability
Trey Benson carried the ball three times for 20 yards in the Cardinals' 23-22 loss to the Vikings in Week 13.
Fantasy Impact
Benson was efficient with his limited touches in a losing effort, averaging 6.7 yards per carry on the day. The rookie running back value remains as a handcuff to starter James Conner at best currently ahead of a Week 14 divisional contest against the Seattle Seahawks.
Trey Benson rushed the ball four times for 18 yards in Sunday's 16-6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact
The rookie technically led the team in rushing yards on Sunday, but he did it with just 18 on the day. He didn't get in the end zone at all and wasn't involved in the passing game either, so he ended up with a very poor fantasy total. He will continue to be nothing more than weak handcuff for James Conner moving forward.
Trey Benson rushed the ball ten times for 62 yards and caught two passes for 25 yards in Sunday's 31-6 win over the New York Jets.
Fantasy Impact
James Connor was inefficient and averaging just 2.8 yards per carry on Sunday, but Benson was finding much more success on the ground. He led the team with 62 rushing yards on a stellar 6.2 yards per carry, and it looks like he may be earning more work for himself in Arizona's offense. If that's the case, Conner may become a player that is more touchdown-reliant over the back half of the season.
Trey Benson rushed eight times for 37 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' Week 9 win versus the Bears. He additionally hauled in his lone target for 18 yards.
Fantasy Impact
Benson’s 55 scrimmage yards produced a new career-high for the rookie, and he was able to score his first NFL touchdown. He is showing plenty of promise, though remains off the fantasy radar as long as James Conner is healthy.
Trey Benson had one rush for ten yards in Sunday's win over the Dolphins.
Fantasy Impact
Benson's one carry marks a season-low in touches. His usage is inconsistent and should be considered only as a handcuff to James Conner.
