In a move that adds more experience on their quarterback depth chart, the New England Patriots have agreed to terms with eight-year veteran Matt Flynn on a contract, league sources confirmed to ESPN. (ESPN Boston)

Matt Flynn will be the third string quarterback behind behind starter Tom Brady and second-year man Jimmy Garoppolo. The Patriots typically only carry two quarterbacks but with the possible suspension of four games for Brady, New England will want some depth behind Garoppolo.
