Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Russell Gage continues to draw praise from quarterback Tom Brady. According to Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official website, Brady believes Gage "is in a very important role in a pass-heavy offense and has a great opportunity ahead of him." Fantasy Impact:
Brady continues to speak very highly of Gage, whom he personally recruited to join the Bucs' offense this past offseason. With Antonio Brown currently out of the league and Chris Godwin rehabbing his ACL, Gage should open the season as the Bucs' No. 2 wideout behind Mike Evans. Such a role in any offense would generate fantasy relevance, but that's especially true in a system as dominant and pass-heavy as the Brady-led Bucs. Gage currently ranks as the WR47 in ECR, but he has top-24 upside.
