Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson who spent the 2021 season on the team's active roster but did not play, has begun evaluating potential fits for his services in 2022 and has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Minnesota Vikings on his radar, according to a report from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano. Fantasy Impact:
Watson has a no-trade clause and is the defendant in 22 civil cases filed by women alleging sexual assault and inappropriate behavior. It remains to be seen whether the NFL will suspend him or when his issues will ultimately be resolved, making any potential trade difficult. Nevertheless, Fowler and Graziano are hearing that the Texans will "once again explore trade options for Watson, possibly around the start of the new league year March 16 or the NFL draft in late April." Monitor his status for updates, but it sounds like we are at least a month away from any potential trade.
