Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said QB Tua Tagovailoa (finger) "banged his left finger in a Week 8 loss to the Bills, but will play Sunday" against the Houston Texans. (Ruthie Polinsky on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

According to Flores, Tagovailoa has some discomfort but is optimistic the Dolphins quarterback will play on Sunday. The Texans allow 23.6 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, ranking 26th overall. Tua has produced in plus matchups, throwing for 620 yards and six touchdowns in Weeks 6 through 7 against the Falcons and Jaguars. The former first-rounder is a borderline QB1 and is currently 12th overall in the latest FantasyPros expert consensus rankings for Week 9. Fantasy managers should check back Sunday morning to ensure Tua is active before inserting him into their starting lineups.
