Out of nowhere, Ryan Williams could be the breakout player of 2015

Ryan Williams has only played five NFL games in his four NFL seasons, but he could be a huge part of the Cowboys plans for 2015. DeMarco Murray may leave in free agency, Joseph Randle is questionable with legal trouble, and a draft pick is very uncertain; Williams may have the opportunity of his life right in front of him. Williams, still only 24 years old, was the leading rusher for the Cowboys in the preseason of 2014 and a former second round pick by the Arizona Cardinals. (Dallas Morning News)
Fantasy Impact:
Williams came out of college young at 21 and was known for his explosive running style. It is tough to evaluate Williams, as he only has 58 NFL rushing attempts, but, in his freshman year at Virginia Tech, Williams had 1835 yards from scrimmage and 22 touchdowns. Although that was 2009, Williams has not had the opportunity to be a full time RB since, with both hamstring and knee injuries hampering his career. He was on the Cowboys practice squad last season, but could be a top-15 RB this year if he gets the starting job. The Cowboys have a run-focused offense and an elite offensive line: that leads to success for anyone that is able to be the starter in Dallas. If Williams wins the RB battle, look for him a massive draft day sleeper.
