Running back Shaun Wilson is reportedly being placed on injured reserve by the Washington Redskins as they continue to trim down their active roster to 53. (Craig Hoffman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Wilson only has a sprained ankle, but Washington is placing him on injured reserve to essentially give him a redshirt year and retain his rights. Washington has a crowded running back room, and Wilson was unlikely to make the team barring multiple injuries.
