Paxton Lynch still a 'work in progress'

by Brian Piazzi | Mon, Jun 12th 10:38am EDT

Mike Klis of 9 News Denver reports that Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch remains "a work in progress" following OTAs. (9 News Denver)

Fantasy Impact:

Lynch was seen as a developmental prospect coming out of the draft, and it showed when he took the field last year filling in for an injured Trevor Siemian. The addition of offensive coordinator Mike McCoy this offseason is expected to benefit Lynch from a scheme perspective, but Lynch will need to show a lot more during training camp and the preseason to beat out 2016 starter Trevor Siemian. As of right now, the Broncos offense will be far better off from a fantasy perspective if Siemian remains the starter going into the 2017 season.
