Fantasy Impact: Burns is a new addition to the team's injury report, being listed with a groin injury that will leave him questionable to play on Sunday. It's unclear if he is trending one direction or the other, and if he's unable to play, that will be a tough blow to New York's defense.

Fantasy Impact: Gano can be dropped in fantasy leagues following this news. The Giants will likely sign a kicker this week, but that is yet to be determined. The 15-year veteran started 2024 in perfect fashion, going 2-for-2, before suffering this soft tissue injury.

Fantasy Impact: Slayton is off of the injury report and will be good to go for Sunday's game. He was in the NFL's concussion protocols earlier this week, but he has been cleared to play and shouldn't face any restrictions to his workload. Fantasy managers still shouldn't start him, even in a great matchup against the Commanders.

Gunner Olszewski (groin) is out for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders. (Source: Dan Salomone)

Fantasy Impact: Olszewski is set to miss his second-straight game because of a groin injury. It's unclear when he will be healthy enough to make his return to the lineup, and the team will continue to take his recovery week-to-week. His absence doesn't carry much weight for fantasy purposes.

Malik Nabers (knee) is not on New York's injury report ahead of Week 2 against the Washington Commanders. (Source: Ryan Dunleavy on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Nabers was added to New York's injury report this week after sustaining a knee injury, but fortunately, it has turned out to be nothing more than a minor issue. New York Giants WR Bryce Ford-Wheaton hyperextended his knee in Friday's practice, likely sidelining him temporarily. (Source: Dan Duggan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The injury isn't expected to be anything serious, and Ford-Wheaton should be able to return soon, though his status for New York's first game of the preseason is likely in question.
