Fantasy Impact: After getting swept in the first round by the Timberwolves, it seems pretty evident that changes will be made with the Suns this offseason. Booker appears the most likely player to be moved between him, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. The Knicks have also been rumored to be interested in Booker with the Thunder and Spurs now reportedly being added to the mix.

Fantasy Impact: Harden hasn't been with the team this offseason and wasn't at media day on Monday, but he's expected to be back very soon. He has wanted a trade all offseason, but he didn't get one and it finally appears that he will let it go. He will be an elite fantasy option as usual if he plays with no restrictions or drama to start the year.

Fantasy Impact: Strus was picked up by the team in free agency and is expected to get a big role off the bat on his new team. He says that he expects to start at the small forward position, which was filled by Caris LeVert and Cedi Osman for much of last year. This is good news for his fantasy value and he's worth keeping an eye on as a late-round draft pick.

Fantasy Impact: Rubio took a step away from basketball to focus on his mental health, and he still remains away from the team as we draw close to training camp. We haven't heard any update from him about when or if he will be back, but the team is hopeful he plays sometime this season. Caris LeVert and Max Strus will both get more work for however long the veteran remains away from the team for.

Fantasy Impact: Porter has been absent from the team since being arrested for sexual assault, and it's now being reported that Houston has reached out to his representatives and told them that they won't be having him back on the team this year. It's unknown if they will try to trade him or cut him, but either way, he's not going to see the court for the foreseeable future. Cam Whitmore has been mentioned as someone who may get a bigger role this year as a result of Porter's absence.

Fantasy Impact: Lillard said he wanted to be traded to the Heat, but the Trail Blazers will be seeking the best return. Portland is reportedly seeking a combination of young players, draft picks and cap relief. This remains a situation to monitor.

Fantasy Impact: It is tough to know how the Suns can make it work financially with Irving, but they're going to try and make it work. That would be quite the blockbuster move after already landing Bradley Beal in a trade. The Mavericks remain fully in the mix to bring Irving back as well.
Victor Wembanyama has decided to sit out the FIBA World Cup this summer and instead focus on his rookie season with the Spurs. He said his health is the main focus as the volume of games he plans to play in between the upcoming NBA season and next year's Olympics was just too much to add in FIBA as well.
Fantasy Impact: He has yet to play in any NBA action, but expectations are sky-high for the rookie. Taking his health seriously is a sign of maturity, something every team longs to see in their young players. That is especially true when they have potential stardom written all over them like Wemby.

Fantasy Impact: Porzingis would be an interesting fit for a championship contender in the Celtics. He is coming off a career season averaging over 23 points and eight rebounds on just under 50 percent shooting from the field. Porzingis could be a nice fit alongside Al Horford and Robert Williams in the Celtics front court. It would make sense the Wizards would look to trade Porzingis after recently trading Bradley Beal.

Fantasy Impact: “We’ve uncovered a fair amount of additional information," Silver said. "We probably could have brought it to a head now, but we’ve made the decision that it would be unfair to these players and these teams to announce that decision in the middle of this series.” The decision on whether or not Morant will be suspended will be announced soon after the NBA Finals finishes.
