Fantasy Impact: The Lakers are prepared to offer a massive, long-term contract offer to bring the back-to-back national champion to the NBA. JJ Reddick had previously been the coach the Lakers were reportedly eyeing the most.

Fantasy Impact: Embiid is currently signed with the 76ers through the 2024-2025 season with a player option for the 2025-2026 season. Locking Embiid in for another two years would be vital for the Sixers in the pursuit of their first championship in over 40 years.

Fantasy Impact: Maxey had a spectacular 2023-2024 season, putting up three games with 50+ points, receiving his first All-Star bid, and earning the Most Improved Player award. He was a vital part of keeping the 76ers in playoff contention after losing superstar Joel Embiid for 2 months with a torn meniscus. Maxey will look to continue to be the point guard of the future for the Sixers if he does sign this deal.

Fantasy Impact: There was a lot of excitement surrounding Vanderbilt when he joined the Lakers in 2022, but he has not lived up to the expectations the Lakers had for him. The Lakers are rumored to be oscillating between trying to get another superstar or acquiring more solid role players and depth. Vanderbilt could be a piece of a trade if either of these scenarios plays out, but either way, Vanderbilt won't have much fantasy value if he continues to struggle with injuries.

Fantasy Impact: If a trade is done, Brandon Ingram would likely be involved and headed to Atlanta. This would figure to be a move to build around Zion Williamson, while pairing Murray/Young with CJ McCollum in the back court.

Fantasy Impact: Nembhard is eligible for an extension this offseason. He stepped up in a big way for the Pacers in the playoffs, especially in the games Tyrese Haliburton missed. Nembhard shares the same agent as Pascal Siakam.

Fantasy Impact: The Clippers gave coach Ty Lue an extension and are looking to keep Paul George and James Harden this offseason. Zubac is expected to be part of the core as they look to run it back next season.

Fantasy Impact: Hachimura is owed $35.2 million over the final two years of his contract. He averaged just over 13 points per game this season.

Fantasy Impact: Clarkson is owed $14 million annually over the next two seasons after the two sides have re-negotiated his contract. It is possible a contender looks to make a move for Clarkson in exchange for draft capital.

Fantasy Impact: Finney-Smith was reportedly shopped at the trade deadline, but he wasn't moved. The Bucks, Cavaliers, Grizzlies, Kings, Lakers, Suns and Thunder have all expressed interest in him.

Fantasy Impact: Melton averaged a career-high 11 points per game this season on 36 percent shooting from deep. He also continues to showcase his ability on the defensive end of the court, averaging over one steal in every year of his career. The Hornets, Magic and Spurs are all rumored to be interested in Melton in free agency.

Fantasy Impact: Wiggins saw his production drop across the board this season. He could be moved for a fresh start as the Warriors look to give Jonathan Kuminga a bigger role.

Fantasy Impact: Washington had been looking for two first-round picks for Kuzma at the trade deadline this past year. He has averaged over 21 points on over 44 percent shooting from the field the past two seasons with the Wizards.


Bol Bol could re-sign with Suns

Fantasy Impact: The hope is Bol Bol could see a more consistent role under new head coach Mike Budenholzer. He only saw 11 minutes per game this past season, but did see the court more later in the year. He could test the market as well.

Fantasy Impact: Through his first three seasons in the NBA, Mobley has averaged over 15 points per game on 54 percent shooting from the field. He also averaged a career-high 9.4 rebounds this past season, and averaged over 21 points per game in the series loss against the Celtics with Jarrett Allen sidelined. If Mobley agrees to the max contract extension, Allen could be moved in a trade which would open the door for an even bigger season from Mobley next season.

Fantasy Impact: The Cavaliers are expected to offer Evan Mobley a max contract, which could lead to Allen being moved. Allen averaged a double-double for the second time in three seasons this past year.

Fantasy Impact: Randle is eligible for a four-year, $181 million contract extension. His contract becomes more friendly next season, so that along with the draft picks the Knicks have make a trade possible. New York has been linked to Mikal Bridges and Paul George early on this offseason.
