There was a lot of excitement surrounding Vanderbilt when he joined the Lakers in 2022, but he has not lived up to the expectations the Lakers had for him. The Lakers are rumored to be oscillating between trying to get another superstar or acquiring more solid role players and depth. Vanderbilt could be a piece of a trade if either of these scenarios plays out, but either way, Vanderbilt won't have much fantasy value if he continues to struggle with injuries.
