ESPN reports that 36-year-old Josh Hamilton has been released by the Rangers after another setback knee injury. He had his 11th surgery last season and signed an minor league deal in the off-season.

I don't see any fantasy value in Josh Hamilton this season. The 35-year-old has been plagued with injuries. In deep, deep leagues with a few available DL spots, maybe he can be stashed, but it's unlikely we see Hamilton until June at the earliest, and that's a best case scenario.
