Williams Perez has been diagnosed with an impingement in his throwing elbow. He's likely to be shutdown for the remainder of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Perez proved useful as a streaming options earlier this season, but he has since struggled with injuries which have limited him to 11 starts. He'll likely finish the year with an ERA and WHIP of 6.04 and 1.34.
