Griffin Canning signs one-year deal with Mets

Fantasy Impact:
Canning posted a 5.19 ERA across 32 appearances (31 starts) last season with the Angels. He was non-tendered by the Braves last month. He'll compete in spring training for a spot at the end of the Mets starting rotation or potentially in a long relief role.
