Logan Driscoll optioned to Triple-A

by Bruno Mulé | Rays Correspondent | Thu, Mar 20th 9:24am EDT

The Rays sent Logan Driscoll (ankle) to Triple-A Durham on Wednesday, per team updates, after a right ankle injury limited his Opening Day roster bid. (Rays Communications)

Fantasy Impact:

Driscoll, sidelined since Feb. 25 by a right ankle injury after 2 spring games, couldn’t snag a Rays catcher spot, with Danny Jansen and Ben Rortvedt set to start. He’s Durham-bound Wednesday. Fantasy managers in deep dynasty leagues might stash him, hoping the 26-year-old’s bat earns regular Triple-A at-bats and a midseason call-up if Tampa Bay’s catching depth shifts in 2025.
