Adrian Del Castillo will begin Cactus League play as a designated hitter due to right arm fatigue, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports. The Diamondbacks don't view the issue as serious and expect him to resume catching in games by early March. Del Castillo is competing for the backup catcher role behind Gabriel Moreno.
