A day after their doubleheader, Brandon Nimmo will be out of the lineup for the Mets in game one against the Reds. (Tim Healey on X)

Nimmo had been leading off for New York this season, but will find himself on the bench to start this series, even against a right-handed pitcher in Hunter Greene. Tyrone Taylor will replace Nimmo and bat sixth for the Mets.
