The Phillies and Matt Strahm have agreed to a one-year contract extension, with a club option for 2026. (Matt Gelb on Twitter )

The veteran reliever was set to hit free agency after this season, but is now tied to the Phillies for at least one more season. The left-hander posted a 3.29 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP in 56 appearances last season.
