Fantasy Impact:
Luplow has come to terms with the Braves on a free-agent deal for the second offseason in a row. The now 30-year-old outfielder was designated for assignment by the Braves early last season, and he ultimately ended up only getting 77 MLB plate appearances while spending time with the Twins and Blue Jays. Luplow does have more than 1,000 MLB plate appearances since his big-league debut back in 2017, posting a .737 OPS with 47 homers for his career. The Braves are in search of a fourth outfielder to play behind their starters. Luplow has experience in all three outfield spots and handles the bat particularly well against left-handed pitching (.833 OPS). That could give him a real shot to come out of spring training with the club.
